Insurance

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file the claim for treatment we provide on the patient’s behalf. We will collect the amount that we estimate insurance will not cover at the time treatment is provided.

This is only an estimation and sometimes we must either bill or refund the difference after insurance has made their decision on payment.  Even though we provide this service as a courtesy, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the patient or primary insured contact their insurance company directly in an effort to avoid any misunderstanding, miscommunication or unexpected surprises with regard to amounts owed, annual maximum coverages or remaining balances with allowable benefits from any particular insurance company.

Even though this courtesy is provided free of charge, we are unable to accept any liability in errors or discrepancies in the amount due at the time of service or any point thereafter.

Out-Of-Network

Even though we are participating providers for over thirteen insurance companies, in the event that we are out-of-network with a particular company, we will assist in every way possible with optimizing the use of insurance benefits.  If we are out of network with a particular insurance company, there is often very little to a nominal difference in the benefits covered by the insurance company yet at other times, there is a big difference.

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the patient or primary insured contact the insurance company directly in an effort to avoid any misunderstanding, miscommunication or unexpected surprises with regard to amounts owed, annual maximum coverages or remaining balances with allowable benefits from any particular insurance company.

If you have any questions regarding payments or your insurance benefits, please do not hesitate to call our office at (910) 436-1922.
