Originally from Brazil, Dr. Garcez brings a unique blend of precision, problem-solving, and compassion to dentistry. Before becoming a dentist, he studied mechanical engineering and worked as an engineer and operations manager. This experience shaped his attention to detail and his belief that there is always an opportunity to learn, improve, and provide better care.
Dr. Garcez also spent two years volunteering in the Amazon region of Brazil. Serving local communities taught him the importance of listening, understanding each person’s needs, and connecting with people from many different backgrounds. These lessons continue to guide the caring relationships he builds with his patients.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, where he received an award in esthetic dentistry. Today, he provides a wide range of services, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, and surgical and complex extractions.
Dr. Garcez believes dental care should be built on trust, clear communication, and a conservative approach. He takes time to explain treatment options in simple language and helps patients understand the reasons behind his recommendations. His goal is to preserve healthy natural teeth whenever possible while making treatment comfortable, precise, and personalized.
